Martial Arts Summer Camps for Kids & Teens
Are you looking for a fun way to spend the summer?
Seven Spears Martial Arts summer camps offer an exciting opportunity to learn new skills while having lots of fun!
Camp Overview
All camp sessions are designed to teach children and teenagers about self-defense, confidence building, and discipline. We will include basic self-defense skills, strength and flexibility exercises, and leadership-building activities. Our emphasis is on leadership, character development, teamwork, and respect so students will leave camp with skills they can apply anywhere!
There are many different styles of martial arts, so it’s important to us that we provide a variety of options for you to choose one or more sessions that fit your child’s interests.
Session 1: Warrior Weapons: June 13th-17th
Students will learn basic bo staff and sword skills along with drills to improve hand-eye coordination and basic defensive techniques.
- Bo staff training will include basic spins, blocks, and strikes.
- Sword training will include technique, blocks, and strikes.
Session 2: Kicks and Tricks: July 11th-15th
Students will learn a range of martial arts kicks including:
- basic kicks,
- jump kicks,
- spinning and
- flying kicks.
The focus will be on agility and flexibility along with building leg strength and control.
This session will also include basic martial arts tricking skills like:
- the butterfly kick,
- point 180,
- advanced kicking combinations and more.
Session 3: Ninja Skills: August 1st-5th
In this camp, students will get a well-rounded session on the multiple martial arts skills we teach.
They will learn:
- self-defense,
- striking,
- basic weapons,
- sweeps
- throws and much more!
We’ll also include special ninja games for fun!
Camp Schedule:
Half day: 9am-12pm or 12pm to 3pm
Full day: 9am-3pm
Early drop off: 8:30 am, $35 additional for the week
Late pick up: 4 pm, $50 additional for the week
$75 for both!
Pizza will be served for lunch on Friday!
What to bring:
Please be sure to send your child with water, snacks, and lunch Monday through Thursday.
On Friday we’ll serve pizza for lunch.
